New Book and Keeping In Touch

Just a couple of things to talk about today:

1) The first book in the newly revised Amorlia trilogy is up for sale today. It's called Princess In Exile and is available for sale as a paperback book. Kindle edition coming soon.

2) Since the new webcomic, Agents of the Round Table, updates every 2 months, we here at Hemisphere Studios suggest you like our Facebook Page so you can receive notification when the comic updates. The next chapter will be up sometime in December. Updates will also post here, but you'll get them faster from Facebook.

A Brief Update

Last weekend (10/8 - 10/10) we attended the New York Comic Con. There will be pictures and video and other bits of whatnot, but for now, please enjoy the latest offering from Hemisphere Studios: Agents of the Round Table

A few developments since last we spoke:

1. Among the Silver Stars is now complete. Go visit to read the webcomic in its entirety from the beginning. A print version is coming soon, at which time most of the comic will be taken down with only a short sample remaining free on the site.

2. One Night on Halloween Street, an upcoming children's book illustrated by Ozzie Rodriguez, will soon be available for sale through the Hemisphere Studios site. Go check out the synopsis page for a bit about the story and some preview artwork.

3. Two stories have been added to Spontaneous Fiction, one of which will become a new series. A poll is available through the Hemisphere Studios Facebook Fan Page which allows readers to choose their favorite. Votes can also be left in the comments of this post as well as in the comments of each story.

We're Back, Baby!

After months of downtime, Hemisphere Studios is once again live and updated! The site has been given a minor facelift and a couple of new features have been added.

1. "Among the Silver Stars", which is nearing completion, will update weekly for the duration of its run. Page 40 is up now and the next update is due next Tuesday (10/27).

2. The synopsis page for Doris Daring, Star Captain of the Spaceways now features a book trailer, courtesy of the fine folks over at Grey Sky Films.

3. I've added the "Add This" feature to certain pages, which will make it easier for you to share the awesomeness with all your various online social circles.

And that's the news for now. For those of you still with us, thank you so much for your patience, understanding and support. There's more to come, so keep checking back!

Service to resume shortly

Due to issues with our FTP server and a rather pernicious virus attack, Hemisphere Studios has lain fallow since mid-summer. Both problems have been resolved and regular updates will resume next week. Look for new pages on "Among the Silver Stars" as well as a site redesign and some Doris Daring content. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Back in Business

Well, I've just let this thing go all kinds of fallow, haven't I? Chapter Two has been going for a while now, so head on over to the site and check out the new pages, then come back here and comment about them.

I also did a bit of a redesign of the site and would love to hear comments about that as well.

In other news, Doris Daring is having its very final round of edits. All the illustrations are in and I'm adding them to the book. I'm exploring some new self-publishing avenues for it, so check back here for updates in when the book will be available.

As for the aforementioned news I couldn't talk about, that's kind of limboish at the moment, so I will continue being coy about it.

Intermission

Due to the aforementioned news I can't talk about yet, there will be a brief, if regrettable, intermission while Ariel finishes adding the remaining tones to Chapter 1 and begins Chapter 2. Please return to the site on Monday, November 17th when we begin the true story behind the Defender's arch-nemesis, Nihlus the Star Tyrant.

This is a place where I'll post news and announcements and various bits of whatnot relating to the works of fiction produced through the Hemisphere Studios imprint. I will also be posting here every time a new page of "Among the Silver Stars" is up, and will give people a place to comment and discuss the comic. Ideally, I'd have a forum or comments right on the comic page, but we don't cotton to you big-city webcomic folk and your fancy ways, so we're doing it on the cheap for now.

I realize the place is a bit sparse at the moment. I'll be spiffing it up with links and other stuff as I go.

Speaking of, page 13 is up now, with the next page due on 6/16.
